LOVA is a footwear design consultancy based in Porto, Portugal. Why Portugal? As stated in Pirouette :“Portugal has a great manufacturing tradition: textile, shoes, furniture, ceramics. From small independents to luxury brands, most of the fashion labels produce their clothes and shoes around the city of Porto: Paul Smith, Isabel Marant, Stella McCartney, Ralph Lauren, Burberry, Maison Kitsune, Tommy Hilfiger, all use production facilities in the area, to name only a very few.”
LOVA was established in 2016 by the estonian native Karen Poolak who lived 10 years in France where she did her studies in Art Direction in Nice and had her strongest experiences in the flamboyant world of fashion in Paris.
